a la Cart is an interactive e-commerce system designed to provide user-friendly interfaces to help consumers and aspiring web shop owners to start their businesses. Developed by Nasi-Goreng Interactive and Labour & Make, this system has a blog-like control panel that allows the web-shop owner to upload images of their products and change the descriptions and pricing whenever they wish. Because of the simple interface, this system empowers the owner of the site with full control over the content, bypassing the need for a web designer whenever small changes or adjustments call for.
